Like other tissues of the body, the skin can become congested (e.g., dry without sweat, itching, oily), inflamed (e.g., redness, irritation, burning), or depleted (e.g., from nutritional deficiencies, dehydration, or low healthy fat levels). The overall health of an individual is often reflected in the skin, which can show signs of liver burden, nutritional imbalances, inflammation, hormonal fluctuations, and even poor-quality sleep.

In traditional systems of health, such as Ayurveda, the appearance and function of the skin are seen as indicators of deeper internal states. Therefore, supporting skin health requires identifying and addressing the underlying causes, whether they stem from inflammatory tendencies, dietary factors, hormonal shifts, or other systemic imbalances.

Through a combination of individualized dietary guidance, internal and topical herbal support, and lifestyle adjustments, many people have experienced significant improvement in their skin clarity and comfort—especially in long-standing imbalances such as dryness, redness, or chronic irritation.  Skin Treatment Details

Khabir’s 21 Fundamental Health Guidelines

  1. Don't eat commercially processed foods such as cookies, cakes, crackers, TV dinners, soft drinks, packaged sauce mixes, boxed foods, can foods, etc.  Cook from scratch with grains, legumes, vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds.
  2. Avoid all refined sweeteners such as sugar, dextrose, glucose, high fructose corn syrup and even agave. Just raw honey as much as you can, then some maple syrup, and black strap molasses in cooking.
  3. Avoid white flour, white flour products and white rice. Just use wheat, rye, basmati rice, barley, quinoa etc.
  4. Avoid all hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated fats and oils. Use Ghee, coconut oil, butter, sesame oil etc.
  5. Avoid all vegetable oils made from soy, corn, safflower, canola or cottonseed.
  6. Do not use polyunsaturated oils for cooking, sautéing or baking. Use Ghee and coconut oil for sautéing.
  7. Avoid fried foods. Steam or stew vegetables when cooking them. Buy and eclectic steamer!
  8. Do not practice veganism or a raw diet for extended periods of time.  Organic raw dairy (and other animal protein sources) provide vital nutrients not found in plant foods if taken in moderation.
  9. Consume some form of essential fatty acids (oil and fat) with each meal. Like butter, olive oil, coconut oil, etc.
  10. Avoid pasteurized milk; do not consume lowfat milk, powdered milk or imitation milk products. Just buy raw.
  11. Avoid battery-produced eggs and factory-farmed meats. Just buy the cage free and organically feed type.
  12. Avoid processed luncheon meats, sausage and hot dogs as well as pork and beef. Use organic soy products.
  13. Avoid rancid and improperly prepared seeds, nuts and grains found in granolas and extruded breakfast cereals, as they block mineral absorption and cause intestinal distress.  Buy your nuts fresh and add them to meals.
  14. Avoid canned, sprayed, waxed, bioengineered, irradiated and inorganic fruits and vegetables. By organic!!
  15. Avoid artificial food additives, especially MSG, hydrolyzed vegetable protein and aspartame, which are neurotoxins. Most soups, sauce and broth mixes and commercial condiments contain MSG.  Read labels.
  16. Avoid caffeine-containing beverages such as coffee, black tea, energy drinks and soft drinks. Drink green tea.
  17. Avoid aluminum-containing foods such as commercial salt, baking powder and antacids. Do not use aluminum cookware or aluminum-containing deodorants.  Use stainless steel, iron, copper or ceramic.
  18. Do not drink fluoridated water or use toothpaste with fluoride. Throw them in the trash!
  19. Avoid synthetic vitamins and foods containing them labeled as "enriched". Use whole food supplements.
  20. Do not drink distilled liquors and greatly minimize any consumption of wine or beer. Drink water of course!
  21. Do not use a microwave oven ever!  Give it away
