In today’s world of environmental toxins, processed food, and stress, seasonal detoxification is traditionally used to support balance, digestion, and vitality. According to Ayurveda, accumulated toxins (Ama) disrupt the body’s natural cleansing systems and can lead to long-term imbalance if not addressed.

Most detox plans begin with colon cleansing and gradually move to:
- Liver and gallbladder support
- Kidney and bladder cleansing
- Optional heavy metal detox (if appropriate)
- Ongoing digestive and immune support through food and herbs
Note: Juice fasts, overly restrictive diets, or supplement-only cleanses are not recommended for long-term detoxification. Ayurveda emphasizes balance, nourishment, and food compatibility as the foundation of all effective detox programs.
