Your Nutritional Needs
Many people experience low energy, digestive discomfort, and recurring imbalances related to long-standing nutritional gaps—often without realizing it. Rather than following trends or restrictive diets, I help clients understand their individual nutritional needs using classical Ayurvedic principles and whole-food strategies.
Why Nutritional Guidance Matters
As understood in Ayurveda and traditional naturopathy:
- Everyone has different nutritional needs based on age, digestion, stress, constitution (dosha), and life stage
- Modern diets are often low in naturally occurring minerals, enzymes, and phytonutrients due to processing and soil depletion
- The most supportive nutrition comes from real, whole foods rather than isolated or synthetic inputs
“Let food be thy medicine, and let thy medicine be food.” — Hippocrates
On Synthetic Vitamins
Many over-the-counter vitamins are chemically isolated or synthetically produced. From a traditional perspective, these products:
- Do not reflect the complexity of nutrients found in whole foods
- May not be absorbed in the same way as food-based sources
- Are generally avoided in classical Ayurvedic and whole-food approaches
Instead, guidance is centered on food-based nutrition and traditional supplementation, selected according to constitution, digestion, and individual patterns (as per Ayurveda).
What to Expect
During a nutritional consultation, I may:
- Review your nutritional patterns using traditional Ayurvedic assessment methods
- Discuss dietary habits, digestion, energy levels, and lifestyle factors
- Provide a personalized food plan with whole-food suggestions, traditional supplements, teas, and juices
- Offer written guidance including timing, portions, and practical instructions
This type of guidance is traditionally used to support:
- Healthy weight patterns
- Hormonal and life-stage transitions
- Immune resilience
- Mental clarity and focus
- Digestive strength
- Pregnancy, nursing, and elder nutritional support (educational context)
Consultations — Zoom
Each consultation (approximately 60–90 minutes) may include:
- Comprehensive dietary and lifestyle review
- Ayurvedic evaluation of constitution and current patterns (Prakriti and Vikriti)
- A complete, written nutritional outline with food guidance and timing
- Optional follow-up sessions for refinement and seasonal adjustment
One or two sessions are often sufficient to establish a clear, sustainable nutritional direction.
