Skype Consultations
Consultations generally last from 60 to 120 minutes depending upon your concerns and number of health conditions. Consultations are available by remote support using the phone, Skype and email with products mailed by Planet Ayurveda. Services are available worldwide from Ojai, California, Pacific coast time (PCT).
Consultations include:
- Complete Health Assessment and explanation by Khabir Southwick (about Khabir)
- Individualized [Ayurvedic] dietary guidelines and therapeutic meal planning.
- Instructions and support for home treatments.
- Specific recommendations of Planet Ayurveda Products and dosage (with a 10% discount)
- Daily and seasonal routine suggestions.
* Unlimited follow-up support by email or phone is provided as needed.*
Fees
- Initial appointment: US$90 - 90 minutes or more (Planet Ayurveda special US$65)
- Regular appointments: US$65- 60 minutes
- You will be invoiced online an able to pay online by credit card or paypal

- Remote Consultations - Includes telephone, Skype, Google Hangout or other remote communication service.
- The Initial Consultation - Includes a comprehensive intake with dietary and health history, current supplement analysis: pulse, tongue, eyes, nail and skin assessment as per Ayurveda, individualized dietary recommendations, recommendations for herbal products as needed; approx. 90 minutes.
- Regular Consultations - Evaluate progress and start new treatment(s); approx 60 minutes.
All sessions include documentation, handouts and links to recommenced products, and follow-up support by phone or email as needed. Herbal products are billed separately.

Days & Times
Khabir can be available for last minute appointments, however, an appointment is still required. Appointments are generally scheduled Monday through Friday between 9:00am to 6:00pm PCT with availability on weekends and evenings upon request.
Payment Policy
Payment for services is required in advance for remote clients (i.e. Skype, email, Google Hangout, phone). Detailed receipts will be provided by email. Products are purchased directly from Planet Ayurveda.
Visa, MasterCard and Amex are accepted. PayPal is also accepted. Checks should be payable to Natural Healing Consultants.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments missed or cancelled in less than 24 hours will incur a US$35 charge. Exceptions to this policy may be made for emergency situations on a case-by-case basis.
Insurance
We do not bill insurance directly, but we will prepare a detailed bill which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, if your insurance covers naturopathic or nutritional therapy visits. We do not bill Medicare.
(Ayurveda is not yet covered by traditional HMO and PPO plans. This means we are an “out of pocket” expense.)
Skype
Skype is a modern way of communicating over the internet. You can make *free calls (depending on your internet plan) to other people who are also on skype for as long as you like, to wherever you like. Just visit www.skype.com for more information and to download this service for free. If you have a web-cam attached to your computer you can make a video call where the person you are calling is able to view you on their computer screen and vice versa.
