Exercise daily by walking for at least 30 minutes
All schools of thought agree that exercise benefits our physical, mental and emotional health; many add spiritual health to the list. Exercise should be tailored to the individual's abilities and needs, and those under a doctor's care should ask about any limitations. Excessive exercise have been shown to promote free radicals in the body. Exercise does not need to be intensive to be effective. Walking or swimming half an hour a day is sufficient; the key is consistency.
The goal is for exercise to positively affect and improve:
- Circulation
- Energy
- Strength
- Flexibility
- Coordination
- Breathing capacity
- Muscle tone
- Posture
- Elimination of toxins
- Mental alertness and focus
- General sense of well-being
